International engineering business Wilton Group is to highlight its capabilities at one of the key events in the global energy industry calendar.

The Teesside-based group will be at Gastech to showcase the attributes which have helped it secure a succession of major construction contracts in recent months.

The natural gas conference and exhibition, taking place at ExCel London from October 8-11, will feature around 350 exhibitors from around the globe and is likely to attract over 10,000 visitors.

Wilton’s Business Development Director Des Hatfield said: “It’s a fantastic opportunity for us to highlight the expertise and experience that have underpinned our remarkable growth in recent years across a variety of markets.

“We believe our ability to deliver an integrated service, encompassing our design, engineering and manufacturing capabilities, represents a very strong and distinctive offering in a highly competitive global market.

“Gastech provides the ideal platform for us to engage with an audience of senior industry personnel and underline our commitment to deliver engineering solutions defined by quality and integrity.”

The company is currently working on series of construction projects for North Sea developments.

The Wilton Group comprises Wilton Engineering, Aberdeen-based PD&MS Energy and Universal Coatings. It employs 800 people across operations in Middlesbrough, Great Yarmouth, Aberdeen, Dundee and Brazil.

The Wilton Group will be on stand A89 in the main hall at Gastech.
