Scottish recruitment firm Eden Scott has announced the largest round of promotions in its history, as it reports robust financial results in its thirteenth year.

The business, which operates from Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen, says it is committed to “progressing internal talent by recognising and promoting thirteen star performers.”

The promotions come at a significant time for the business, which is celebrating its strongest financial year to date, turning over £16million.

Twelve of the thirteen staff being promoted are described as “home grown talent” by the firm, having started their careers at Eden Scott in entry-level positions and working their way up the ranks.

Four of the promotions are into the firm’s management team, with Keith Tocher, Alasdair Murray and Peter Dunn in Edinburgh, and Lucy Nicoll in Aberdeen all move from Managing Consultants to Divisional Managers, growing the team from ten to fourteen.

Sally Rae and Paul Buchan in Edinburgh, and Rebecca Ferguson in Aberdeen, have been elevated to Principal. While Edinburgh trio Daniel MacNeill, Megan Vinten and Jennifer Telfer progress to Senior Consultant and Kirsty McKay moves from Associate to Consultant.

James Milne, Managing Director at Eden Scott said: “On the back of an outstanding trading year for Eden Scott, it is a pleasure to recognise and reward these 13 incredible individuals who have demonstrated the hard work, dedication and skills required to deliver exceptional results.

“We are certain that they will continue our success in their new and well-deserved roles.”
