Aberdeen’s Frasermedia has been shortlisted for two PR industry awards.

The award-winning public relations and communications firm also has a second office in Inverness and has been named as finalists in this year’s Public Relations Consultants Association (PRCA) Dare Awards for Scotland and Northern Ireland.

The firm, which employs a team of eight across its two bases, is shortlisted for Consultancy of the Year and for the Live, Launched and Loud category in recognition of its campaign for the inaugural North Hop craft beer festival.

The PRCA Dare Awards recognise all aspects of public relations and internal communications work and focuses on raising standards in the PR and communications industry.

Launched in 2007, Frasermedia delivers business-to-business and consumer PR and strategic communications to a range of clients across Scotland in industries including, oil and gas, food and tourism, financial and professional services. The firm is facing competition from four other finalists in each category from agencies across Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Managing director of Frasermedia, Pauline Cook, said: “We are delighted to be named as finalists in two categories for this year’s PRCA Dare Awards and it is a huge recognition of the team’s dedication to our clients. The PR and communications firm delivers a number of media and communications-based services in addition to PR including; emergency media response training and support, presentation skills training and corporate DVD production.

The Scotland and Ireland PRCA Dare Awards ceremony will be held at The George Hotel in Edinburgh on Wednesday 20 May 2015.
