An Edinburgh dental professional has invested in his first practice catering for an increasing demand within the local community, following a £578,000 loan from the Bank of Scotland.

Fraser Callaghan manages a team of seven dental professionals at the Brite Dental Edinburgh clinic, formerly The ToothBox dental clinic, located in the suburb of Gilmerton.

On average the practice is registering 60 new NHS patients per month, compared to four before the re-launch spearheaded by Fraser. The focus is now to ensure the provision of excellent customer care and encourage more people in the area to visit Fraser and his team regularly.

Fraser acquired the practice through the Brite Dental Model, created by an award winning team of dentists and dental care professionals to assist exceptional practitioners looking to invest in their first premises.

Brite Dental Edinburgh provides a full range of both NHS and private dental treatments. The consulting and treatment rooms are equipped with some of the latest technology including digital x-rays and intra-oral dental cameras which allow the patient to see in detail what dental issue the dentist is referring to.

Fraser Callaghan, lead cosmetic dentist at Brite Dental Edinburgh, said: “Investing in this new practice is a very exciting venture for me. With 25 per cent of the population suffering from dental nervousness, I was keen to take on a business where I could have a strong hand in ensuring people’s needs are put first, creating bespoke solutions for each and every patient.

“I’m grateful to Bank of Scotland and The Brite team for its support in helping me acquire my first practice. I now look forward to continually delivering first-class dental care for Edinburgh residents.”

Brian Bovell, business development manager for the Edinburgh area, Bank of Scotland, added: “The practice is a bright and inviting space which will undoubtedly provide a comfortable environment for everyone who visits.

“Fraser is clearly a very talented cosmetic dentist. It’s been a real pleasure working with him as he surges forward in his career. As a business, we’re always keen to nurture talent and support young professionals as they embark on first time enterprises.”

The Brite Dental team support Fraser by coordinating core synergies of marketing, branding, software and treatment support, allowing Fraser to concentrate on driving excellent patient care and continuing to develop his skills and expertise.
