Boost Business Support is to specialise in content marketing services, in response to the challenges faced by local small businesses.

Boost’s team of virtual assistants will help clients manage their blogs, email newsletters and social media, as well as support them with elements of podcast and online video production.

For the past four years, business owner, Yva Yorston, has been providing practical help with admin, marketing and research to entrepreneurs in Aberdeen and beyond. She recently decided to narrow the focus of Boost’s services after surveying her customers and newsletter subscribers about their biggest challenges in business.

Yva said: “When I asked my mailing list subscribers what their biggest challenge in business was, there were two clear answers – finding quality customers and lack of time. I decided that the best way we can help people meet these challenges is to support them in their online marketing efforts, freeing up their time and giving them the best chance of success.”

Content marketing involves creating and distributing relevant, valuable content to your target audience, on a regular basis, with the aim of building a relationship that leads to a purchase. This content is delivered through a variety of media, including blogs, email newsletters, videos and podcasts.

“A growing number of small business owners in Scotland recognise the importance and value of a digital marketing strategy, but few have the time to implement it with consistency. By supporting them with key elements of the content marketing process, we can help Scottish businesses to reach the right customers, build trust and ultimately win more business.”
