Business Women Scotland Live Event returns to Aberdeen on Thursday 19th May 2016, with a great line up of speakers to help women grow their business, their career, their confidence, and their connections. The early bird £7 ticket price closes on Tuesday 19th April.
BWS Live Event is a one day event of business advice, culture, discussion and lifestyle hosted by Business Women Scotland magazine, and presented by STV newsreader Rachel McTavish.

Mixing business with style, the event has something for everyone. The Learning Labs include a women in small business surgery, advice on social media, PR and brand development, and legal considerations to help your business grow. We have discussions on women and the Scottish economy, and are delighted to have Jeanette Forbes, BWS Inspirational Woman of the Year, joining a panel discussing women working in a man’s world. On the Confidence and Lifestyle side there will be tips to keep you motivated, advice on how to get out of your comfort zone and successfully ask for a promotion or negotiate a fee, how to combat stress in the workplace, and ideas for your summer working wardrobe.

It’s a great networking opportunity for females of all types from new businesses to professionals. There will be around 40 exhibitors, promoting and selling their goods and services, from business advice to fashion, professional services to jewellery.

The BWS live event is structured so that shorter visits of an hour or two can be tailored to the areas of greatest interest, and it’s a fantastic opportunity to meet new people. The event is open from 9:15am – 3:45pm, guests can arrive when they like and stay for as long as they want.

Early bird £7 tickets can purchased online now, and closes on Tuesday 19th April. Ticket price is then £10 and can be purchased in advance or on the day.
