A north-east IT specialist has received a national award in recognition of its success – scoring a win for Scotland at Wembley Stadium in the process.

Inverurie-based First eBusiness triumphed at the Citrix Partner Accelerator event at the famous London venue, where the business was named as the Fastest Growing UK Citrix Solution Advisor.

Citrix is a global innovator in workplace software and systems, with a range of products enabling increasingly mobile workforces to easily and securely access applications, desktops, data and services from any device.

Mark Gray, First eBusiness Systems Consulting Manager, said: “We are delighted to have received this award. The company has been a Citrix partner for over 16-years and our continued growth is a reflection of the skills and experience of our team, something that is appreciated by our clients old and new. Our expertise ensures our clients get real value from Citrix investment.”

Mark Beaumont, Head of Channel, Northern Europe, at Citrix, said: “I’m delighted to recognise First eBusiness. This award demonstrates the continued commitment from a key partner to Citrix. Smart partnering is vital to Citrix’s success, so it is really important that we highlight the amazing contributions that partners such as First eBusiness have made – from managing the sales cycle to designing and implementing cutting-edge digital transformation projects.”

Experience and expertise in delivering Citrix based solutions for businesses is a key strength of First eBusiness, helping clients including Robert Gordon University, Proserv and Hunting Energy Services unlock the potential of a constantly evolving suite of products.

Mark Gray: “There is typically a tremendous amount of unlocked potential in Citrix which we are able to open up, with many businesses only using it for one particular purpose. Having already made the investment in the technology, a business that is not taking full advantage of what Citrix could do for them is missing a trick. We help our clients see what is possible using Citrix, which is often much more than their initial reason for the investment.”

First eBusiness has more than 35 years experience in delivering business solutions and IT services, with a focus on the oil and gas, services, manufacturing and distribution industries.
