Aberdeen based telecoms provider SureVoIP has won the Internet Telephony Service Provider Association’s (ITSPA) UK wide award for Best Business ITSP (Medium Enterprise) 2016.
An ITSP, or Internet Telephony Service Provider, is a company which specialises in using the internet to deliver telecoms, more commonly know as VoIP or Voice over Internet Protocol.
SureVoIP beat off stiff competition from around the UK. Their written self-assessment was independently reviewed by the ITSPA Awards judges and they underwent a rigorous technical test over a two month period before finally picking up the award at a ceremony in London earlier this week.
The company was also a finalist in the Best Business ITSP (Corporate) and Best VoIP Infrastructure categories.
Gavin Henry, Managing Director of SureVoIP said “It was a great afternoon in London and when we won I couldn’t believe it. I thanked all our Customers, resellers and partners for trusting us as their VoIP service provider and for their business. And it was important to thank the SureVoIP team for all their hard work.”
ITSPA, the UK’s voice for the next generation communications industry, recently relaunched their ITSPA Quality Mark with updated requirements in line with developments in the industry. SureVoIP gained the Quality Mark last month, being one of the first five successful applicants in the UK.
Gavin Henry, added “We were delighted to receive the ITSPA Quality Mark. It was down to the hard work of the whole SureVoIP team to meet the tough new standards.”
Receiving the Quality Mark and now the Best Business ITSP award demonstrates to our existing customers, partners and new clients that SureVoIP is dedicated to being one of the best business VoIP service providers in the country.”
