Buchan Bowling Association 2016

Phil Anderson Financial Services Ltd is to sponsor Buchan Bowling Association in a four figure deal.

The financial advisory firm which has it’s main office in Ellon is the main sponsor of Buchan County and Phil Anderson presented the team with new shirts for the 2016 season at the beginning of their latest match.

Buchan County President Bill Gowans said “It was great to see the lads kitted out in their new shirts on Saturday.

“Finding sponsors in the current economic environment is not easy in the north-east and we are delighted with the support we are getting from Phil Anderson Financial Services. It was great to start the season with a win and hopefully we can keep it going when we play Perthshire next weekend.”

Commenting after the match Phil Anderson said “Over the years we have had many bowlers come to us for advice on mortgages, pensions and investments. It’s nice to be able to put something back in to the sport and I congratulate Buchan on their fine victory against Dundee at Ellon. We also support the Ellon Super Six competition and are the main sponsors of the Whitehall Invitation Pairs which takes place in August. It’s great to be able to support our local bowlers and the Buchan Bowling Association. The new shirts look excellent and I wish them all the best for the season ahead.”
