A new ‘key appointment specialists’ business has been launched in Aberdeen which aims to shake up the search sector.

FG Associates has been set up by Martyn Garvie, Craig Finnie, Andrew Burton and Philip Smith who between them have 75 years’ experience in the Aberdeen recruitment sector.

Notably within the Team sees the return of Phillip Smith to the Search market. Phillip has close to 40 years’ experience in the sector, latterly as managing director of Aberdeen Appointments Agency.

Craig Finnie said “We have spent considerable time devising a model that fundamentally challenges existing approaches. Getting key appointment hires right is critical to a business. With market conditions the most challenging we have ever seen, general consensus is that the only way to recovery is through innovation and collaboration which are the key drivers behind our business model.”

FGA offers a shared risk model providing clients with a trustworthy and vested partner in attracting and retaining talent. Part of this model is a guarantee that they believe is unmatched in the market place.
