A Scottish firm specialising in tailored interior design solutions has been chosen as a preferred contractor to furnish properties in the ongoing Quartermile luxury apartment project in Edinburgh.

Cate Warren Interiors developed a range of three beautifully designed furniture ‘pack’ options for City Meadows at the Quartermile development which allowed 40 residents to move instantly into fully-furnished, highly-styled homes.

The interior design company has now been appointed to provide further expert advice to the owners of the luxury apartments who are set to move into or rent out their property within the upcoming projects.

Cate Warren, Director, at Cate Warren Interiors works closely with Quartermile, letting agents and landlords seeking to enhance their properties through desirable, considered design, across Edinburgh and the Lothians.

Cate said: “Six years ago, I formed Cate Warren Interiors to work primarily on show homes, but very quickly found that there was a gap in the expanding rental market for affordable, intelligent, design-led furnishing solutions – so we were absolutely delighted to be able to get involved in this major project.

“This is a very exciting time for the business with Quartermile becoming our biggest project to date. We provided three furniture packs as well as a bespoke service for private clients and landlords to ensure a range of design options were available to suit home buyers’ needs.

“We’re really excited about the launch of the next building at Quartermile, and are looking forward to tailoring our packs to suit the unique luxury conversion apartments at The Lofts.”

Cate Warren Interiors’ design packs include an economical option, a standard option, both design-led and durable, and an upgraded pack with a higher furniture level and a high-end design feel.

Cate Warren Interiors was formed in 2010 and the company has since established itself firmly in Scotland, completing show homes for Grosvenor Estates, Savills, J Smart and New Age Developers among others.

Cate Warren Interiors has also established a strong foothold in the burgeoning rental, and buy-to-let markets. Lead designer Cate Warren has been in the interior design industry for 15 years, since graduating from Goldsmiths, University of London. She started out at Philippe Starck’s Yoo Ltd, before moving on to work at Target Living as Design Project Manager for interior designer Tara Bernerd, with whom she worked on a succession of high-end, high-value projects for home builders, private clients, hotels, and bars.
