Lanarkshire-based HR Services Scotland (HRSS) has appointed Martin Miller to its Health and Safety Team as Fire Safety Officer, and Graham Hyslop to the Business Development Team as Business Development manager.
The award winning HRSS provides human resources, employment law, and Health and Safety services for over 150 clients in the UK, and is expanding. HRSS provides unrivalled market knowledge and understanding of up-to-date legislation to a variety of SMEs, large scale public, private and third sector organisations.
Martin Miller has been a serving fire fighter for over 30 years with Strathclyde Fire and Rescue Service, and brings his comprehensive knowledge of fire safety and preparedness to the Health and Safety Team.
On leaving the fire and Rescue Service as a Crew Commander, Mr Miller set up his own Fire Safety Consultancy, and is a qualified Fire Risk Assessor, with National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) qualifications.
Graham Hyslop has over 20 years experience in the SME and corporate sectors in the UK and Europe. He has particular experience in the food services and logistics area, including Bidvest, Dunns, DBC Food service, and 3663 First.
Mr Hyslop has developed a reputation for solid focus on the end customer’s requirements, forging and maintaining solid business relationships. The number of blue chip companies he has been employed by over his career is testament to his diligence and sales acumen.
