Aberdeen based digital marketing agency, Red Evolution, has opened a London office in response to increased demand from the south of the UK.
The company, which specialises in web design and inbound marketing, has secured over £100,000 worth of new business from outside the North East of Scotland in 2016 so far.
New contracts have come from a diverse range of companies, including car finance and IT support, and a wide geographical area, stretching from Perthshire to London. The most distant new client is a manufacturing company in France.
The majority of new projects combine elements of website design with content planning and creation with the aim of driving new leads to the clients’ businesses.
Director, Dave Robinson said, “We have been proactively targeting new business across the UK, using our website and an inbound marketing approach to generate leads. It has taken a while, but the activity is really starting to pay off. Having a base in London makes it easier to service our English clients, and meet with those prospective customers who want to see us face-to-face.”
However, it’s not all about the South. Red Evolution have also acquired two new oil and gas sector clients in recent months and have seen an increase in local enquiries since the second quarter of 2016.
Dave Robinson commented, “It is reassuring to hear from companies that appreciate the value of investing in their online assets. When times are hard we are firm believers in going out and finding new ways to get business. We are delighted to see it working for us and to have the opportunity to help other companies achieve the same success.”
Despite the expansion, Red Evolution has been careful not to abandon its Deeside roots, and is also working on websites for two small charities from the Aboyne area.
