Data capture firm Gecko Labs has taken up new office space in Edinburgh in a deal brokered by commercial property agents Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH).

The company has agreed a five-year lease on 2,623 sq ft of basement space at 116 Dundas Street at £12 psf.

Gecko Labs, which works with major universities and colleges to provide cutting edge data capture solutions, is re-locating its Edinburgh headquarters from Shandwick Place to Dundas Street. The company also has offices in both London and New York.

Ian Davidson, who heads up LSH’s office team in Edinburgh commented: “The high quality open plan basement suite at 116 Dundas Street proved ideal as a new base for Gecko Labs in Edinburgh.

“All the suites in the building have been recently refurbished and provide high quality cost effective accommodation just a 10 minute walk from Princes Street,” added Mr Davidson.

Lambert Smith Hampton and Ryden represented the landlord Millard Estates, while FT Linden acted on behalf of the tenant.
