Plant Integrity scoops CNR contract

The PIM CNR project team

Plant Integrity Management (PIM) has been awarded a significant contract to support CNR International (UK) Ltd (CNR) integrity management across its UKCS assets.

The Aberdeenshire based company, which specialises in integrity management for oil and gas operators and service companies, was awarded the work based on its excellent track record with the operator.

PIM began its relationship with CNRI in 2012, carrying out several projects to identify potential improvements to the firm’s integrity management processes. These high level reviews allowed PIM to recommend an extensive and detailed roadmap to enable the company to drive improvements.

PIM then proceeded, through 2013 and 2014, to help CNR successfully implement subsequent integrity enhancement projects, leading to the current award which extends the approach to all CNR’s UKCS Assets.

At a time of reduced oil prices and general industry uncertainty, this work is providing CNR with a sustainable way forward, maximising productivity and controlling costs while ensuring that integrity is being safely maintained.

Steven Plant, Managing Director at PIM said:

“Our relationship with CNR has grown significantly over the last three years, and we are delighted that the company is confident of our ability to deliver a cost effective, quality service, and are demonstrating this by entrusting us with this significant expansion in scope and responsibility”.

“We are specialists in what we do; and integrity management is a key input to the safe and cost effective running of an asset. Our great people combined with our industry leading software tools allow us to provide industry beating service quality and an industry beating price.”
