Irene is a Senior Economist with an international career developed in multinational environments (multinational corporations and international organisations) with an innovative and global perspective on corporate strategy and economics. She has established a track record leading complex projects across different continents related to private sector development. Irene is currently working in the Corporate Development department of DPDHL, based in Bonn (Germany), where she is leading on Circular Economy projects for DPDHL, structuring the analysis and setting-up cross-divisional collaboration within the company. Deutsche Post DHL Group has developed the Reverse Logistics Maturity Model, a practical tool that aims to help organisations map out and continuously improve reverse logistics processes for their products. It also highlights the opportunities that exist for logistics companies to adapt and expand their services and approaches to support the circular economy, which in turn creates additional value both for business and the environment.
