Young entrepreneur opens Elemental Crystals shop

Joss Rushton at Elemental Crystals in Rothienorman

A young entrepreneur will open his newly acquired shop next month (March 1) having carved out a niche in the holistic crystals market.

Joss Rushton is to open Elemental Crystals in Rothienorman, Aberdeenshire, after the company’s website experienced consistently high sales and a strong demand from customers for a place to see the company’s portfolio first-hand.

The business sells a range of holistic crystals and stones each of which are said to connect with the energy within a person’s body to provide remedies for ailments including fatigue, lack of concentration, clarity of mind, and stress or anxiety.

Joss’ store will stock items from small tumblestones, fossils and incense as well as larger stones including amethyst geodes which are to be kept in the home and are said to clear an area of all its negative energy.

Items of jewellery handmade in Cambodia featuring some of the crystals available in the store are also part of the firm’s extensive product range.

Joss started Elemental Crystals in 2014 and has since built up a network of contacts from various nations across the globe including South Africa, Madagascar, Tanzania, Brazil, Bolivia, Australia and Russia.

Joss, 19, said, “I’m delighted to be able to open a shop and run a business doing something that I am truly passionate about.

“The interest I’ve seen on my online offering in the past few years has encouraged me to set up shop in Rothienorman.”

Elemental Crystals will open its doors on Tuesday, March 1 (2016) and the public are invited along to see Joss’s extensive product range and learn more about how the crystals could potentially improve their lives.

In addition, visitors will have a chance to learn about their future from a visiting tarot reader, while there will also be works displayed by local artist, Roselyne O’Neill. Complimentary refreshments will also be made available.

Elemental Crystals will be open from Tuesday to Saturday from 10am until 5pm, and is by appointment only on Mondays. The shop will be closed on Sundays.
